Description – This consists of the wood of Cedrus deodara Loud. of the family Coniferae. The wood is heavy, hard, nonporous and possesses a characteristic balsamic odor.

Chemical Constituents- It contains an anmatic oil, gum and cholesterin.

Use – It is diuretic, diaphoretic and carminative.
