Chemical Constituents- Fruits contain volatile oil. Essential oil contains (+)daucene and other sesquiterpene like alpha-pinene, nopinene, sabineene, dipentene, p-thymol, linalool, geraniol, hergamotrin, Beta-bisabolene, etc. Seeds contain daucol

Use – Infusion of roots considered diuretic, deobstruent and stimulant
