Botanical name – Acacia arabica

Description – This consists of the gum obtained from Acacia arabica Willed of the family Leguminosae.

Chemical Constituents- It contains mucilage, arabic acid, Calcium, magnesium, potassium, malic acid and sugar.

Use – It is useful in checking diarrhoea and dysentery. It is also used in irritable states of the urino genital organs.
