The seven days at the end and commencement of flus (seasons) is known as
]3.tusaildhi (inter seasonal period). During that period, the regimen of the
preceding season shoi.ild be discontinued giadually and that of the succeeding
season should be adopted (gradually); sudden discontinuance or sudden adoption
gives rite to diseases caused by asätmya (non-habituation).
Thus ends the chapter-named 1tucayrâ, the third of sutrasthana of Aãnga hdaya
sarhhitã composed by kimad Vagbhaa son of sri vaidyapati Simhagupta.
